Michelle and Shane, together with their closest friends and family, tied the knot at the beautiful Woodlands at Cottonwood Canyon. You know its true love when the groom orders the bride pizza to her and her bridesmaids as they get ready. Last Saturday Marin and Cory tied the knot, "FINALLY" quotes one of the bridesmaids. Although nearly 250 of their closest friends and family joined the two at the Copper K Barn just outside Whitehall, it felt like they were the only two soles in the room. The day was filled with tears of joy and laughter, a little rock climbing and misquote bitting but nothing short of pure happiness! this week I had the pleasure of working with two beautiful young ladies. both beautiful on the inside as well as the outside. our sessions were fun, relaxing and we got some pretty nice portraits for these gals! on a bitter cold November day, Chris got down on one knee and proposed to Rebekah, in the very same spot they plan on building their future together. she said yes.
i have done my fair share of weddings in the past six years, this one is one of my favs. sometimes you just "click" with your clients and that's what happened with Rebekah and Chris. they are fun, sweet and truly, madly deeply in love. the love between them is a powerful thing. their day was filled with nothing but complete happiness as they joined their lives together as one.
and you know that saying you only get to wear it once (referring to your wedding dress) well not Rebekah. we decided to do something a little different with this couple and do their first look they day before, really wanting to save all their time to really enjoy family and friends on their wedding day. so she got all dressed up twice! i knew the second we started dancing the funky chicken in the middle of the field that it was going to be a weekend to remember..... and it was.

She's a Florida gal, he grew up in Montana. Their paths crossed working at the border patrol in South Texas. They fell in love. And together with their closest friends and family they said I do on the beautiful island of South Padre. After a couple days of grey skies and chilly breezes, the sunshine graced them with it's presence for a picture perfect island wedding. Their love for each other shines on their faces. It's true, it's deep.....pure happiness.

my first trip to Pennsylvania was a good one. I was lucky enough to take Julia and Scott's engagement photos when they drove all the way to Montana a couple summers ago and when they asked if they could fly me out to capture their wedding day, i jumped at the opportunity! in their back yard, along with their family and closest friends, these two amazing individuals became one. and then the first thing the very next morning, Julia hopped back in her wedding gown and took photos with her other love...

Anne and Ted where looking for something a little different when planning their wedding, what they found was just that. different, unique and totally them. one of their favorite movies is Jurassic Park, they joked around about Anne walking down the aisle one day to the theme song.....she did just that, with a huge smile on her face. they said their "i do's" under a T-Rex and danced in the museum lobby. all-in-all it was an awesome night. thank you Anne and Ted for allowing me to be about of your special day!
